Fabric of Pop Warhol Poster

An original Poster advertising the Fabric of Pop Exhibition at the V&A Museum, London 18th July-18th August 1974. This was an important event, being one of the first occasions that Street Fashion was given such exalted status. The Exhibition specifically looked at the influence of Pop-Art on textile designs, the displays being accompanied with a diet of contemporary Pop Music. The Poster incorporates an image of a model wearing a "Campbell Soup" T-Shirt set against a motiv of similar soup cans, this of course borrowing from Andy Warhol's famous 1962 design. The Poster has some general creasing but still displays well. A rare & attractive piece of Warhol related Memorabilia.
