Oh Calcutta John Lennon Poster

A rare original Poster (12 1/2"x 20") for the infamous Theatrical Revue "Oh Calcutta", this being for the first West End Production at the Royalty Theatre, London (Sept '70- Jan '74). This US originated initiative featured Adult themes & a fully nude cast & caused a huge furore in 1970's London. John Lennon was among a number of contributors (also including Johnny Dankworth). Lennon's particular piece was entitled "Four In Hand", a typically challenging sketch about masturbation. A really unusual & interesting piece of Lennon Memorabilia. Original Sticker to lower rim & general creasing/edge nicks.
