Mott The Hoople Autographed Young Dudes Flyer 1972

An original Mott The Hoople 1972 CBS double-sided flyer (8"x 10") fully signed by the band to the reverse, originally obtained at a gig at Birmingham Town Hall.

Struggling for a commercial breakthrough & on the verge of splitting up, Mott The Hoople were gifted the song "All The Young Dudes" by admirer, David Bowie. The single was a smash hit, peaking at #3 & the accompanying album was Mott's best selling to date. As a consequence, Mott stayed together. The double-sided CBS Records flyer here is therefore an important piece of Mott memorabilia, signalling the pivotal moment in the band's career.

Flyer with several light fold marks.

Where there is particular provenance available, this is disclosed but if you have any questions, please ask us.
