Mott The Hoople Young Dudes Flyer 1972

Struggling for a commercial breakthrough & on the verge of splitting up, Mott The Hoople were gifted the song "All The Young Dudes" by admirer, David Bowie. The single was a smash hit, peaking at #3 & the accompanying album was Mott's best selling to date. As a consequence, Mott stayed together. The double-sided CBS Records flyer here is therefore an important piece of Mott memorabilia, signalling the pivotal moment in the band's career.

This is a large flyer measuring 8"x 10". Interestingly the reverse carries blank outlines of the band with names alongside, perhaps testimony to how relatively well-known they were as individuals at the time.

Very minor "yellowing" to the edges but overall in excellent condition.
