Beatles Hard Days Night Concert

Two fascinating pieces relating to The Beatles Film "A Hard Day's Night". First, a 30-page Magazine "Film Artiste" 1964 with a 2-page article inside inviting fans to apply for an opportunity to "Be A Film Extra On The Beatles Picture !!!" (this being given an early Title "Beatlemania" !). A portion of the article is missing where the application coupon has been removed. The lucky applicant was one of 350 chosen to attend a special Filming Session at the Scala Theatre, London 31st March 1964. The stapled 2-page letter from Central Casting Limited sets out the details of the shoot (still referring to A Hard Day's Night as "The Beatles Film") & provides a signed Consent Form (signed by the attendees Parent). This is a bit worn but is a fascinating piece of Memorabilia relating to this highly exclusive Beatles performance. The Beatles spent several days Filming at the Scala but the 31st was when the Beatles were Filmed playing to a live audience. In the finished Film, The Beatles are seen performing 4 songs recorded in front of the Scala audience.
