Beatles Neck Tie Prototype

A rare early example of a piece of Beatles Merchandising, this being a Prototype mock-up design for a Beatles Neck-Tie 17"x 5 1/2". Made by Ransom, the prototype was submitted to The Beatles Merchandising Co SELTAEB in the USA. The design incorporated the 4 Beatles to the front together with tufts of mop-top hair, with the name "Beatles" to the reverse with Musical Notes. It is not known if this was ever put into Production but as a prototype it is one of the rarest pieces of Beatles Merchandise ever produced. There is some creasing but once framed up, this would look terrific. This item came directly from a SELTAEB employee. Other close-up pics available on request.
