Deep Purple T-Rex Kempton Festival Poster 1968

An original poster for the 8th National Jazz & Blues Festival held at Kempton Park, 9th-11th August 1968. Of particular note is the presence of Deep Purple, 9th on the bill for the Sat evening, this representing one of their earliest ever gigs & certainly the largest gig of their careers to date. Other artists appearing included T-Rex, Traffic, Jeff Beck, John Mayall, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Herd, Fairport, Jethro Tull etc.

The poster has a few light surface marks & minor tears but has been professionally restored & rice paper-backed. A rare piece of British rock memorabilia.
