National Jazz Blues Festival Deep Purple 1968

An original letter from the National Jazz Federation concerning the forthcoming 8th National Jazz & Blues Festival (Kempton Park) 1968, inviting trade exhibitors to take stands at the Festival with the promise of "between 40,000 and 50,000 young people" attending the event. The letterhead notes the Directors of the NJF as Chris Barber, Humphrey Lyttleton & Harold Pendleton. Acts appearing at the '68 Festival included Deep Purple, T-Rex, Mayall, Traffic, Taste, Jethro Tull etc. An interesting piece of memorabilia concerning the most famous of all British Music Festival series.
