George Harrison Wonderwall Quad Poster 1968

UK Quad cinema poster (30"x 40") for the British "Swinging 60's" drama "Wonderwall" (1968).

Featuring an eccentric who spies on his neighbours (a model & her photographer boyfriend) the film is firmly rooted in the psychedelic counter-culture of the time. This was enhanced by an Indian themed soundtrack courtesy of Beatle George Harrison & set designs by the psych graphic design team "The Fool" (Simon Posthuma & Marijke Koger - also frequent collaborators with The Beatles etc). The poster provides a suitably convoluted & colourful design.

This Quad is unusual in being double-sided with a synopsis, cast/credits & press ads to the reverse as shown. This is the case for every "Wonderwall" Quad we have seen in the past 30 years. Poster folded & in excellent condition. For an idea of relative value, at the time of listing the London Gallery price for this poster was £995.
