UK Quad poster for "This Is Spinal Tap" (1984) the Rock Music spoof.

"This Is Spinal Tap" (1984) is probably the epitome of a cult film (& cult film poster). The "mockumentary" approach covering the travails of a fictional British heavy rock band received a muted response upon release (the film was low budget & marked director Rob Reiner's debut too). However, once released on video, the film built a solid following & is now widely acclaimed & celebrated. The relatively poor reception of the cinematic release meant a low poster print run & thus surviving FIRST release Quad cinema posters such as this are scarce & in high demand.

Poster folded with two small conservation tape strengtheners to crossfold wear to the reverse & in excellent overall condition.
