Beatles Hard Day's Night Premiere Prog

An original 40-page programme for the premiere of The Beatles debut film "A Hard Day's Night" (1964) held at the Pavilion Theatre, Piccadilly, on 6th July 1964.

All four Beatles, plus Brian Epstein, royalty & the aristocracy of the music scene attended. Such was the interest & fan fervour that the Police closed all surrounding streets. It is estimated that somewhere between 12,000-20,000 fans crammed into the surrounding streets to glimpse a sight of The Beatles. Apart from the VIP invitations, members of the public were able to apply for tickets to attend too though the numbers successful was strictly limited.

The programme is packed with Beatles content including many images & a host of interesting ads for various Beatles merchandise. The reverse of the programme was autographed by the 60's celebrity Patrick Kerr ("love & kisses"), he of "Ready Steady Go!" fame: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Kerr_(dancer)

The programme has been folded with scuffs to covers but the contents are in very good condition. This is one of the rarest of all Beatles UK programmes & rarer than the later Northern premiere programme.

NB. A supplementary P&P charge will be required for overseas buyers.
