Yellow Submarine Beatles Quad Cinema Poster

An original UK Quad (1st version) Poster Advance (30"x 40") for The Beatles Film "Yellow Submarine". Poster Advances were printed in small numbers to be used to promote Films prior to the General Release when new Posters were printed bearing full artwork & explanatory Credits text etc. In the case of "Yellow Submarine", two Poster Advances were used, this with just the barest of artwork & no text except the Printers credits & the "Subafilms" text & a 2nd one which has further artwork surrounding the Beatles on the Poster but again has no Credits text (this was subsequently added to the General Release version). All these variants are rare but here we have the rarest of the three. This example is in beautiful condition with a single vertical foldline. At the time of Listing, there is another example listed in the USA for the FX equivalent of £6,250.
