Count Bishops Squeeze Marquee Poster 1977

An interesting concert poster (20"x 30") for the Marquee Club, London, promoting The Count Bishops & Squeeze on 18th May 1977.

The support band Squeeze were ultimately to enjoy far more commercial success than The Count Bishops. However, at the time of this gig, the Deptford based Squeeze were still learning their trade though core band members, Glenn Tilbrook, Chris Difford & Jools Holland were in place for this gig. It was not until a year later in Apr '78 that the Squeeze single "Take Me I'm Yours" was to provide Squeeze with their first chart success (peaking at #19).

Poster rolled & in excellent condition. An interesting piece of Marquee memorabilia.
