David Bowie Early Fan Club Poster 1972

Early original David Bowie double-sided Fan Club poster (11 3/4" sq) c' May 1972.

An interesting an early piece of Bowie memorabilia dating from his first emergence as a superstar! Bowie first entered the charts in 1969 with "Space Oddity" but it was not till three years later that he properly broke through. "Starman" was released 28th Apr 1972 & peaked at #10 in the charts in June '72 whilst the "forthcoming" "...Ziggy stardust..." LP mentioned on the poster was released on 16th June & went to #5 in the UK album charts on 1st July '72. This dates this poster to May '72, an absolutely pivotal moment in the career of Bowie. The poster carries the Aylesbury address of Bowie's early Fan Club too.

Neat pin-holes to corners & light wear but overall very good condition.
