David Bowie Fell To Earth Cinema Poster 1976

UK Quad cinema poster (30"x 40") for the David Bowie film "The Man Who Fell To Earth" (1976) featuring poster artwork by Vic Fair.

This is one of Vic Fair's best known poster compositions. The artist stayed up all night working on the design to win the commission. The poster design includes an interplay between several geometric shapes. This was a design feature Fair experimented with frequently in the mid-1970's. TMWFTE was Bowie's first big screen acting role.

This poster remains in scarce unfolded condition. Very light creasing to upper right rim but overall in excellent condition. A fab piece of Bowie memorabilia & a fine example of Vic Fair's artwork.
