Dr Feelgood Mink DeVille Bournemouth Poster 1977

Dr Feelgood / Mink DeVille concert poster (20"x 30") for the Winter Gardens, Bournemouth, 19th Oct 1977.

This is a great piece of Punk related memorabilia. The antecedents of Punk are much debated but what is clear is that the British punk scene 1976-77 drew inspiration from two distinct sources. One was the homegrown phenomenon of Pub-Rock exemplified by the raucous fare delivered by bands such as Eddie & the Hot Rods, The Stranglers, Kilburn & The High Roads etc, with Dr Feelgood at the vanguard. The second influence came across the pond from the emerging New York Punk scene, the epicentre of which was CBGB's. "House" bands here included Blondie, Television, Talking Heads & Mink DeVille. This is therefore a really interesting poster especially for anyone interested in the history of Punk.

Poster is unfolded & in excellent condition.
