Unofficial Elton John Tour Programme 1973

Interesting unofficial Elton John UK Tour programme (the kind of thing that was sold illegally outside tour venues).

The "dubious" nature of this publication is underlined by the mismatch between the text & the photos inside. The text mentions the recent debut 3-week US Tour by Elton John (Aug 1970) & references the "third" EJ album due, as "the Tumbleweed Collection" (sic), "Tumbleweed Connection" being released in the UK in Oct 1970. Bizarrely, however, the centrepage of the programme presents imagery from Elton's 1973 LP "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". Clearly text from an older programme was simply cobbled together with updated later imagery!

Programme remains in superb condition.

NB. If bought alone, UK buyers will have £6 of the standard P&P charge refunded.
