Costello Barney Bubbles F-Beat Poster 1980

An Elvis Costello LP promo poster (20"x 30") for the F-Beat Records release of "Get Happy!!" by Elvis Costello in 1980.

The poster presents Costello's head in a light-bulb shape. Poster designed by the artist Barney Bubbles who was F-Beats in-house art director at the time but who had worked on other ad campaigns for Costello at Stiff & Radar. The "light-bulb" affectation was a design feature Bubbles used on a number of other occasions making this particular poster an excellent example of this maverick artists work.
