George Harrison Accidental Studio Cinema Poster

A rare modern UK Quad vinyl cinema poster (30"x 40") for the UK documentary film "An Accidental Studio" (2019). The film recounts the tale of ex-Beatle George Harrison's film production company HandMade Films.

HandMade played an important part in the development of British cinema 1978-91, being pivotal in the release of films such as "Monty Python's life of Brian" (1979), "The Long Good Friday" (1980), "Time Bandits" (1981), "Withnail & I" (1987) etc. This film had a very limited cinematic release & the print run of the full-sized Quad was strictly limited. In keeping with the low budget release of this independent film, the poster is single-sided. The poster presents interesting hand-drawn artwork with a great image of George & various characters from HandMade films too.

Although different sized repros can be bought, this is only the second first release Quad poster we have ever seen on the market. A rare cinema poster & a rare piece of George Harrison memorabilia. Tiny mark top left corner but otherwise excellent condition.
