Ian Dury Wilko Benefit Gig Poster 1990

Original concert poster for the series of benefit gigs played by Ian Dury & The Blockheads at the Town & Country Club, London, 25th-27th Sept 1990.

These three benefit gigs were in honour of the Blockheads original drummer, Charlie Charles who died earlier in Sept '90. A poignant poster as this was also one of the last times Dury performed with The Blockheads, deteriorating health meant he gigged little in the 90's (Dury died in March 2000). Wilko Johnson was the support band for these gigs. What a combination!

Poster with a single vertical fold & light general creasing. Overall in very good condition. A great memento of one of the iconic figureheads of the British Pub-Rock & Punk Rock scenes.
