Jimi Hendrix "Explosion" Big O poster (27 1/2"x 36 3/4") by Martin Sharp.

Originally sold as a silk-screen poster via the counter-culture "OZ" magazine, this psychedelic illustration of Hendrix became one of the iconic images of the time. Following the untimely death of Hendrix in 1971, this gloss version of the poster was released. The original silkscreen version of this poster is extremely rare but the '71 version is scarce too & highly sought after. The last '71 version to sell at auction was via Bonham's in 2023 & sold for £1,400 hammer (ie, £1,800 approx).

Poster unfolded & rolled with slight creasing to left side & top left corner. Overall in very good condition. Poster will NOT be discounted.
