The Invisble Girls were originally
John Cooper Clarke's backing band (forming in 1978) but also worked with Pauline Murray on her debut solo LP & tour. Future Joy Division producer
Martin Hannett was a member of the Invisible Girls & played at this gig. In addition to support from Punk poet John Cooper Clarke was the local Aylesbury band,
The Disco Students, headed by Simon Cheetham.
