Pretenders Glasgow Concert Poster 1980

The Pretenders concert poster (19 1/2"x 29 1/2") for a gig at Tiffany's Glasgow, 17th Feb 1980.

Nice image of the original line-up & the poster references the band's debut LP too. The release of the LP "Pretenders" in Jan 1980 marked the breakthrough for the band. Singles from the LP included "Brass In Pocket", "Stop Your Sobbing" & "Kid". The LP went to #1 in Jan '80 so the punters at this Tiffany's gig were treated to the band "of the moment". Tiffany's was one of the premier gig venues in Glasgow & during its time hosted also the likes of The Who, Cream & U2.
