EARLY Queen 1984 Brian May Concert Poster

One of the earliest pieces of "Queen" memorabilia you are ever likely to find, an original 1966 concert poster (17 1/4"x 23 1/2") for the Brian May/Tim Staffel band "1984".

"1984" was Brian May & Tim Staffel's first band. "1984" played irregularly 1965-68 & this poster is a rare surviving piece of memorabilia for this early pre-Queen band. In early 1968 May & Staffel quit "1984" to form Smile with Roger Taylor, Smile being the band that morphed into Queen in July 1970. This "1984" "Metal Ball" gig poster is for a gig at the Bartlett (part of London University), Fri 9th Dec 1966. Hard to comprehend that from such humble beginnings the global phenomemon of Queen would eventually emerge.

Poster with pin-holes to corners, creasing & minor rim damage but overall in very good condition.

NB. A supplementary P&P charge will be required for this item as it will need to be sent by courier. Collection in person can also be arranged by appointmemt.
