Queen U2 Bowie Live Aid Concert Poster

Original Live Aid 1985 poster (24"x 36") with poster design by Steve Maher.

This "Global Jukebox" poster design is far scarcer & more sought after than the alternative design by Peter Blake. Bob Geldof's "Live Aid" charity concert held on 13th July 1985, was an iconic 80's event, being held both at Wembley & in the US in Philadelphia. The event featured a host of acts with particular standout performances by both Queen & U2.

All the acts taking part are listed on the poster including David Bowie, Elton John, The Who, Paul McCartney, Wham, Black Sabbath, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Madionna, Page & Plant etc.

Poster unfolded & rolled with minor creasing to the rim. For an idea of relative value, at the time of listing the London gallery price for this same poster (though folded) is £895. A fabulous piece of 20th century rock music memorabilia!
