Shotgun Express Concert Poster 1966

Generic Shotgun Express concert poster (20"x 30") c'1966 with blank space at the bottom for venue details to be infilled.

What makes this poster particularly interesting is that Shotgun Express contained not only "Rod the Mod" (Stewart) but the "Peter B's" included Pete Bardens & both Mick Fleetwood & Peter Green (future founder members of Fleetwood Mac). Beryl Marsden had previously been in The She Trinity, making the Shotgun Express combo an early British R&B "supergroup"!

Poster with light creasing, a few small edge nicks & a 1" conservation repair to tear on top rim. The poster is silk-screened in the Ricky Tick style & the print run would have been small. A great piece of British 1960's R&B memorabilia.
