Terry Reid Beatles Alan Bown Poly Gig Poster 69

Fabulous Tery Reid (Beatles) 1969 silk-screened concert poster (19 1/2"x 29 1/2") for a gig at the Polytechnic, Little Titchfield Street (now Westminster Uni), 22nd March 1969.

The enterprising student ents committee produced a poster that placed The Beatles in the centre (this for a screening of their "Magical Mystery Tour" film). Although not a physical appearance by the Beatles, this is likely to have helped ticket sales. The real star attraction, however, was the singer Terry Reid (Jimmy Page's initial first choice for his new band Led Zeppelin). Support was provided by The Alan Bown who also included Robert Palmer & Jess Roden in their number. A lovely poster with bags of late 60's British music interest!

Poster rolled with pin-holes to corners but overall in excellent display condition.
