Artwoods Publicity Card and Ticket 1967

Scarce Artwoods memorabilia, being a Decca Records publicity card (3 1/2"x 6") dated Jan 1967 together with a card concert ticket for the Town Hall Torquay, 5th Aug 1967. The Torquay gig would have been one of the LAST performed by The Artwoods just prior to their split.

Band member Jon Lord joined the Flowerpot Men in Oct '67 & later was a founder member of Deep Purple. Ronnie Wood's brother Art Wood trialled a solo career & in '69 formed the short-lived band Quiet Melon with Ronnie & Rod Stewart, Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones, Ian McLagan and Kim Gardner.

Some great British 1960's Beat memorabilia sold with provenance from the Torquay promoter.
