The Birds Uxbridge Festival Signed Contract

Rare original gig contract for The Birds to play the Uxbridge Blues Festival on 19th June 1965, signed by their manager Leo de Clerk.

The Birds were a London RnB outfit that contained future Faces & Rolling Stones member, Ronnie Wood. Initially The Birds cut their teeth playing gigs in places such as Reading, Windsor & Hounslow, so their appearance at the Uxbridge Festival was effectively a local gig for them. As a relatively short-lived band (1964-67), memorabilia for this important London 60's band is scarce.
