Clash Friars New York Times 1978

A large sheet (12"x 16") carrying an article from the New York Times 3/7/78 entitled "The Punk Scene May Be Waning But the Clash Carry On", the article beginning with a detailed description of a Clash gig at Aylesbury Friars. Friars promoters were impressed & heartened by the growing international reputation of their club (as signalled by this piece in the NY Times) & hence had a number of these sheets printed as handouts for regular attendees. An interesting piece of Friars punk memorabilia.
