Police Friars Aylesbury Backstage Pass 1982

Police un-used backstage pass (3 1/4"x 5") for the Friars Aylesbury gig on 28th July 1982 together with seven photo-copies of newspaper coverage of this gig (one of the best live gigs I've ever attended).

The concert was part of the Police "Ghost In The Machine Tour" '82 & effectively was a mid-tour warm-up gig. The Police toured Oct '81 to Apr '82 & then had a two month break resuming the tour in July through to Sept '82. The gig on the 28th July was at a small venue but allowed the band to revitalise in the legendary friendly atmosphere of Friars. Sting, however, was pretty grumpy having been "outed" in the Press for having an affair with Trudi Styler & interspered songs with rants about certain journalists/publications - it added an edge to the performance! This Friars gig was one of only three UK concerts the band played in 1982.

The pass is un-used & in top condition.
