Four Stones Mobile Recording Rental Lists
Four original Photostat Price Lists (8"x 8 1/2" ea) for the Rolling Stones Mobile Recording Studio c'1970-71.
Each shows the rental rates for hire of equipment (Ampeg, Fender, Hammond, Gretsch etc), with the Stones "tongue" logo at the top & the tel # of the Stones office at the bottom. When Jagger moved to Stargroves, Hampshire in 1970 he wanted to start recording there. At this point, the Stones commissioned the building of a Mobile Recording Studio in a lorry. The idea proved popular & various classic LP's were recorded using this facility including The Stones ("Sticky Fingers" & "Exile on Main St"), Led Zeppelin (III & IV), Deep Purple ("Machine Head") & others by the likes of The WHO & The Faces.
Unususual & interesting items of memorabilia with great connections to the aristocracy of British early 70's rock.
NB. If bought alone, UK buyers will have £5 of the standard P&P charge refunded.
