Rolling Stones Some Girls Texas Poster

Original UK Quad cinema poster (30"x 40") for "The Rolling Stones: Some Girls Live In Texas '78" (2011) for the documentary about the Stones '78 Tour promoting their LP "Some Girls" (1978).

The poster design for this 2011 offering is a striking play on the style of Soviet era "heroic worker" posters, here a cheerful female worker pointing optimistically ahead, factories in the background & racing trucks to the foreground. To avoid confusion three "Stars & Stripes" American flags are present in the design & the John Pasche Stones "tongues & lips" logo embalazoned on th girl's front. A dramatic poster presentation.

Poster unfolded, single-sided with a couple of conservation tape repairs to white rim & overall in very good condition. This is a scarce poster that was printed in relatively small numbers.
