Sex Pistols Cancelled Gig ticket 1976

An original complete card ticket with perforated portion intact (3"x 5 1/2") for a Sex Pistols gig scheduled at the 400 Ballroom, Torquay on 5th Oct 1976.

According to the original promoter, the concert never took place due to objections of the local authorities alarmed at the Pistols reputation for "head-butting people" etc. The gig was re-negotiated to take place on 22nd Dec, as the closing date on the "Anarchy In the UK" tour but by this time, fallout from the infamous Bill Grundy TV interview saw all but 3 of the tour gigs cancelled, including the Torquay one.

There are many Sex Pistols repros in the market but this item is guaranteed to be authentic (& legitimate) having come from the Promoter's own collection & not being material from a recent theft which is being investigated by the Police. A numbered Letter of Authenticity will be supplied & this number will be appended to the reverse of the ticket.

The ticket remains in excellent unused condition & is more blue in colour than shown.

NB. A supplementary P&P charge for overseas buyers will be required.
