Special AKA Mandela Mounted Record 1984

Original Specials "Nelson Mandela" (1984) 7" UK vinyl record & picture sleeve, conservation mounted (11"x 14") ready to be framed & displayed. A collectable 2 Tone release which reached #9 in the UK charts.

Although originally designed to be played, vintage singles like this also make excellent display pieces (see some examples framed on the wall here). We mounted these records ourselves from our own stock & can guarantee that both the vinyl & sleeves are original. The mounts measure 11"x 14" & ready made frames of this size can be sourced easily so they are inexpensive to frame (we do not provide frames ourselves). In the 2000's we were on the "Show circuit" & these mounted records were one of our best sellers.

Mounted records like this make great presents (Christmas, Birthday etc). Each has been hand assembled using real records. We tried to use records as close to mint as possible (though some older examples may have some signs of use - slight creasing to picture sleeve). Each item is unique & a genuine "one-off" so once sold, we have no more.

Each mounted record is stored in a sealed acid-free sellophane bag. They will be sent flat-packed between cardboard & wrapped with fragile tape.
