Thin Lizzy Salford Gig Contract 1973

Rare original Thin Lizzy gig contract with rider for a concert at the Salford Technical College on 16th Feb 1973.

This gig was part of a short 15-date UK Tour undertaken by Lizzy Feb-Mar 1973 promoting their second LP "Shades of a Blue Orphanage". The band were scheduled to play for 1 hour between 6.30pm-7.30pm & were guaranteed a minimum take of £100. Both the contract & rider stipulate "Thin Lizzy must be given 100% top billing" indicating their attempts to establish the band as a major act.

Such gig contracts are rare & this one dates from the early part of Thin Lizzy's career.
