Thin Lizzy Wizzard Torquay Gig Poster 1973

Rare hand-painted gig poster (20"x 30") for Thin Lizzy, Wizzard, Suzi Quatro & Lindisfarne at the Town Hall Torquay, during dates July-Aug 1973.

Created with day-glo paint, this is presumed to be the "master" painted poster from which others were subsequently printed (great image of Roy Wood from Wizzard). Nice piece of marketing with the "appropriation" of the "Marquee" name....though revised as "Marquay" to avoid legal unpleasantness & also as a nod to the seaside location.

Poster with creasing & some minor surface paper loss but a rare piece & visually stunning (no Photoshop used to artificially enhance the colours!).
