David Vaughan Big O Psych Poster 1967

Original David Vaughan silver metallic poster (20"x 30") published by Big O Posters (1967).

Printed on silver foil this poster is a curio as it carries the Big O reference number "(BAT 8407)" in the bottom left corner. This is the same reference number that was used for another David Vaughan silver metallic poster featuring a David Bailey photo of the model Sue Murray (see the attached for reference). It has been suggested that the poster we have may have been an earlier concept piece but this is odd as it presumably would have been properly authorised before being put into print (these silver foil prints were not cheap). If anyone has an explanation, please let us know.

Poster in very good condition & was acquired via Christie's as part Lot #223, 4th Sept 1997. An interesting piece of British counter-culture art.
