Student Womens Lib Disco Poster 1973

An interesting example from the early 1970's counter-culture movement, an original "Womens Lib" event silkscreen poster for a disco at the Queen's Hall (?), 30th Nov 1973.

The women's liberation movement in the 1970s was a political movement focused on establishing equal rights for women. The first National Women's Liberation Conference was held in Oxford in 1970 & this was followed by a significant demonstration in London in 1971. University/College activism was a part of this movement & it is believed that this poster was for one such student run event. An interesting piece of social & political history with attractive graphics.

Poster with light creasing.
