Waveney Swamp Coypu Underground Artwork

Two "Coypu" storyboard artworks (largest 15"x 21") & an original related large 12-page "Waveney Clarion" (1978) counter-culture magazine.

Created by Mark Sparksman & based in Norfolk/Suffolk, the "Coypu" comic strip featured in the alternative press publication the "Waveney Clarion" which ran 1973-84. However, these particular artwork storyboards relate to a "Waveney Clarion" spin-off publication, "Swamp Comix #1" which appeared early 1979 featuring artwork by Borin Van Loon, Tim Rayner & Meg Amsden. The pen & ink storyboards correspond to pages 2 & 3 of this later publication, both being on artboard. NB. Part of the back page of the "Waveney Clarion" missing.

A fascinating collection of underground counter-culture material including rare original artwork.
