Marquee Gig Flyer Dire Straits Rafdio Stars 1978

Double-sided concert flyer (8 1/4"x 11 3/4") for the Marquee Club for July 1978 featuring two early concerts by Dire Straits on 5th & 6th July, plus a raft of Punk/New wave gigs including Radio Stars, The Adverts, Chelsea, The Banned, The Tourists etc.

This was a pivotal time for Dire Straits: in June they commenced their first UK Tour as headliners & released their debut LP. The Marquee gigs were part of this Tour & helped establish the band as a top-draw attraction.

Flyer with a single vertical foldline & in excellent condition. A fine piece of Punk/New Wave memorabilia.
