Eddie Hot Rods Island Records Flyer 1976

An early Punk/Pub Rock piece, being an original Eddie & The Hot Rods Island Records publicity flyer (8"x 10") promoting "Wooly Bully" from 1976.

Eddie & The Hot Rods are somewhat overlooked in terms of their influence on the development of Punk in Britain. Their brand of high energy RnB & anti-establishment credentials pre-dated many later Punk bands that achieved greater profile & commercial success (I remember them with affection for their performance at our Grammar School Xmas dance - I was surprised our gown wearing Headmaster didn't pull the plug!). "Wooly Bully" was only the band's second single & was followed by "Teenage Depression" which was released in Nov '76.
