Otway Dyury Groovies Aylesbury Friars Flyer 1978
An original large double-sided Friars Aylesbury gig flyer (8"x 13") for John Otway & Wild Willy Barrett, 25th May 1979, supported by The Smirks & The Untouchables (aka The Anal surgeons).
The flyer also features forthcoming gigs by Ian Dury & The Blockheads & the Flamin Groovies. Fascinating write-up on the reverse that highlights that this was the first Friars gig since the club's formation in 1969, to feature an all Aylesbury headlining act (Otway/Barrett had appeared before in supporting roles).
Flyer "well loved": folded with minor paper loss/damage to corners, a 1 1/2" foldline separation to the bottom vertical fold etc.
In recent years, some repro Friars flyers have been seen in the market but this particular flyer is guaranteed to be authentic.
NB. If bought alone, UK buyers will have £5 of the standard P&P charge refunded.
