Martin Sharp 1st Print Donovan Poster 1967

Scarce FIRST PRINT Martin Sharp "Donovan - Sunshine Superman" poster (20"x 30") printed by TSR for "Big O Posters" in 1967.

The first print of this poster featured extra red ink to the blue central section (we have tried to show this in the close-up image - NO PhotoShop has been used here). The more common second print in 1968 omitted the red ink. Australian artist Martin Sharp was closely associated with the notorious counter-culture "OZ" magazine & at the forefront of the psychedelic poster scene in late 60's Britain.

Poster printed on a metallic finish light card stock which has been backed onto another piece of card (a restorer would probably be able to remove this extra card backing if required). There is some general creasing but overall the poster renmains in very good condition. Due to the backing this poster will have to be sent flat-packed.
