Beatles Blackpool Autograph Set 1963
A lovely set of original Beatles autographs, mounted & displayed with a b/w photo of the band with provenance & an additional George Harrison autograph to the reverse (overall 16 1/2"x 24").
These autographs were acquired at the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool on 21st July 1963 following The Beatles concert at the Queen's Theatre, Blackpool that night. The Beatles have signed & dedicated (variously "To Jill" & "To Gill") in ballpoint on two separate pages (4 1/4"x 5 1/4" each). George Harrison has signed twice (back & front) of the same page, whereas John Lennon, Paul McCartney & Ringo have signed the other page. A letter of provenance from Mrs Gillian Brabin, dated 24th July 1994 is affixed to the reverse. The autographs have been mounted underneath a b/w photo (6 3/4"x 9") which show The Beatles posing with the Blackpool Tower in the background. These autographs were acquired by ourselves back in the 1990's & have been in our possession since then. A fabulous early collection of autographs with great provenance & an extra Harrison too!
