The Doors John Judkins Artwork 1972

Original hand-painted artwork (22"x 30") by John Judkins of The Doors (1972).

Judkins is best known for his poster artwork for the uber trendy "I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet" boutique in Carnaby Street. Among the glitterati who regularly attended were Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon & Mick Jagger. Judkins poster art is highly stylised & well collected. Although various pieces of Judkins art were sold ten years ago, relatively little is now available. This particular Doors artwork is a finished piece signed & dated by the artist. Judkins created a similar but far less colourful design for a commission for "Break On Through To The Other Side" (1970) which we show for comparison.

NB. This item cannot be rolled so has to be sent flat-packed & a supplementary P&P charge will be required. It may also be collected by appointment.
