Rolling Stones Autographed Publicity Photo 1963
A Rolling Stones autographed 1963 Fan Club publicity photo (4 1/4"x 5 1/4") bearing the autographs of Micky (Jagger) & Charlie Boy (Watts) on one side & Keith Richard, Bill Wyman & Charlie Watts (again) on the other side. The publicity card dates from Nov 1963.
This autographed publicity photo comes with excellent provenance (please see below) & a copy of this will be provided. The schoolgirl who acquired these autographs was befriended by Mick Jagger in 1963. Although it appears the relationship remained chaste, Mick clearly was keen. The young lady saw the Stones at various gigs in Liverpool, Manchester, Stoke etc & was also at the Stones Cavern Club debut 5th Nov 1963 (this was the gig where the Stones discovered that Brian Jones was taking extra commission for supposedly being the band "leader" sowing the seeds for future discord). A collection of early Stones memorabilia from this source is now being offered for sale.
NB. We are always careful about the source of any autographed material (the majority of our autographs were sourced via Christie’s, Bonham’s & Frasers back in the 1990’s). We only offer autographed material which has been checked & is believed to be authentic. We reject 99% of autographs offered to us. Where there is particular provenance available, this is disclosed but if you have any questions, please ask us.
Like everything sold on the website, we operate a no quibble money-back refund should items be returned to us within 14 days of purchase (items to be returned in the same condition in which they were sold).
A supplementary P&P charge for overseas buyers will be required.
