Stones Lynyrd Knebworth Poster 1976

Innovative Rolling Stones poster (24" diameter) for the Knebworth Festival, 21st Aug 1976.

This circular poster depicted a Harlequin in the centre with the band line-up around the rim (others supporting the Stones were Lynyrd Skynyrd, 10CC, Hot Tuna, Todd Rundgren etc). As a marketing stunt a Harlequin ran onto a Court at the '76 Wimbledon tennis championship, thus ensuring maximum publicity for the Knebworth event!

Poster in excellent condition & acquired from Knebworth House in the mid-1990's.
