Sex Pistols EMI Anarchy Shop Poster 1976

A Sex Pistols EMI Records promo poster (17"x 24 3/8") for the bands debut single "Anarchy In The UK" released on 26th Nov 1976 on EMI 2566.

Shortly after the release of "Anarchy..." the Pistols created havoc on the Bill Grundy TV show (1st Dec). With gigs being cancelled & the Pistols notoriety increasing day-by-day, EMI cancelled their contract in Jan 1977. This poster, with Jamie Reid's distinctive Punk graphics remains a scarce reminder of the Pistols short-lived (3 months) association with EMI & a fine example of their controversial reputation. This poster was sourced from a record shop that closed in the early 1980's & is believed to be a print made at that time.

Poster unfolded & in excellent overall condition (a few small marks only).

NB. A supplementary P&P charge will be required for overseas buyers.
