Hair Programme Small Faces Harvey 1968

An original programme for the debut theatrical run of the rock musical "Hair", dating from 1968. This controversial musical included the first instance of full-frontal nudity on the West End stage. This programme lists the original cast members included principal performers Paul Nicholas (actor & pop singer) & Oliver Tobias (the lead from "The Stud"). The cast also included a slew of young actors & actresses who would later have a big impact on the West End, including Tim Curry, Elaine Paige, Peter Straker & Diane Langton. For rock aficionados, one can also find Jimmy Winston in the cast (ex-Small Faces), Sonja Kristina (later of Curved Air) & Alex Harvey listed as a member of the pit band (yes, THE Alex Harvey).
